Organisation – Verein Nachlass Hubert Dechant
Background
Hubert Dechant, an artist from Biel, died unexpectedly on January 3, 2024, during a ski tour. Hubert left behind numerous paintings and drawings
Intention
Hubert's friends have founded an association. On behalf of Hubert Dechant's heirs, his estate is to be presented in an exhibition to his numerous friends and the interested public in Biel, and the works are to be made available to the public.
Project
The estate comprises approximately 50 paintings, and numerous drawings, which will be exhibited in a suitable form in the attic of the Alte Krone.
Support the Exhibition
- We welcome donations to support the setup, operation, and takedown of the exhibition.
- All donations are welcome.
- Donors contributing 100 CHF or more may choose a painting; those contributing 50 CHF or more may choose a portfolio containing 10 of his A4 drawings or a portfolio containing 5 of his A3 drawings.
